I first worked with Louisa in 2010 when she was an invaluable part of the portfolio and marketing process, which in turn produced great results in securing new clients!

She is wonderful, and I keep going back to her from time to time when I need a little refresher on my portfolio and marketing strategies. Thanks Louisa for all your wisdom and help!

I’ve been working with Louisa Curtis and Chatterbox Enterprises since 2013.  When I first met Louisa and spoke with her, I knew she was a knowledgeable resource and would prove to be an invaluable asset… and she has been. Her suggestions and advice have been spot-on.

Louisa has taught me the value of curating my portfolio and constructing not just a bunch of “pretty galleries”, but a website showcasing an actual body of work. Our periodic sessions have given me new insight into the inner workings of the industry and have bolstered my confidence time and again.

Louisa’s candor and easy manner make working with her a genuine pleasure. I look forward to our consultations and greatly value her opinions. And the positive results aren’t too bad either: that is, after all, the bottom line…and what keeps me coming back.

In her calm and rational voice, Louisa helps you get past the negative thoughts in your head, and steers you to focus on the positive. Part consultant, part art therapist, she helps you find your personal vision among the clutter of your images, with concrete suggestions, as well as general advice on how the photo world is changing… and how it isn’t.

Never one to hold back, Louisa tells it like it is, based on her years of diverse experience in the industry, as well as working with all different kinds of photographers.

Louisa is articulate, creative and a gifted photo editor. Every time I work with her, my investment in her services pays off almost immediately because I book better paying jobs!

Louisa knows what editors, art directors and art buyers look for. She helps you formulate your vision and create a cohesive portfolio. After one session with her, my book took on a brand new life. Working with her was one of the best things I’ve done for myself, and my business.

I met Louisa at an ASMP event a few years ago. I was very impressed with her presentation “Refresh Your Presentation and Reach the Right People” so I set up an appointment for the next time I was in New York. I had a big meeting with a client the next day so I was hoping for some last minute advice. Louisa had spent a lot of time poring over my web site beforehand, and was ready with some great no-nonsense advice right away!

If I lived closer to New York I would definitely use her services and build a relationship, she is someone who knows the business and has a great eye for editing. I truly appreciated the last minute effort and my client meeting went great!

I worked with Advertising photographer Chris Crisman some years ago when he was just starting out, and I could tell back then that he had all of the right ingredients to be successful. His imagery was beautiful, and already had a distinct and recognizable style to it, plus he was a smart and thoughtful person who was willing to stay humble and work hard. So it is no big surprise to me that he has done so well and carved out a wonderful career for himself.

Louisa is a fantastic character to have on your team. She is able to craft a distinct perspective of yourself through your images that you just can’t accomplish on your own.

Louisa works diligently to best serve you and get your work on the right track as quickly as possible. Having her on board for the development of a new website and it’s respective edit of my work, I can’t imagine working with anyone else to develop my own image so eloquently. Thank you Louisa.

I enjoyed working with Louisa. She is a great photo editor and has a soothing way of nudging a photographer into creating new body of work. She can take a jumble of images and find order and a storyline, utilizing the theme of most of the images, and/or color and composition. Through this process a new style can emerge.

In short, Louisa has a warm personality, a keen eye, and she can create order out of chaos! This gives a new sense of confidence and direction when approaching new and dream clients.

A few years ago when I was in the process of becoming a semi-professional Fine Art Photographer I came across Chatterbox’s services and I contacted Louisa Curtis. We discussed my then current website, how to curate images and in particular, ways to get recognition.

Louisa had very helpful tips and gave me lots of ideas to make my website more interesting; she also drafted my short bio which became an essential part of my promotion efforts for a long time.

Louisa’s work back then was the first and important step for me to become the full-time professional Fine Art Photographer that I am today.

I had several group and solo shows during the last three years, I have Gallery representation in the US and in Canada now and I published three Fine Art Photography books. Louisa did essential groundwork to achieve this success.

Thanks again, Louisa.

When I was ready to market a new line of photography I turned to Louisa to help me through the process. Having heard her speak and knowing her professional reputation I instinctively felt she was the expert who would deftly shape my ideas and images into a strong and convincing look. She did not disappoint!

Louisa understood my concept and then reviewed (and reviewed) images, pulling out the gems, which naturally lead to the particular galleries. One of her many gifts, and what I found most helpful, is her ability to listen and then guide the process. Her focus was always on the core concept – continually thinking about how images related to what I needed to say. Couldn’t have and wouldn’t have done it without her!
