Pet Tips
Growing up in English countryside, there were always tons of dogs around and everyone in my family seemed to have a dog, or two, and mostly Labradors or retrievers of some sort. Although I have had dogs too, I am really more of a cat person, so for this month, I asked my sister to write some dog tips for us. The photo is one I took when I was last in Guernsey visiting my Aunt. We were walking her little Jack Russell “Cassie” and ran into a woman who breeds and trains collies and was walking a group of them with a black lab as well. She very methodically arranged and instructed them all into a line for me so I could take their picture!

Spring Gardening Tips

So this month, I thought we’d feature some “gardening tips” because Taurus says, “I have, I have the fruits of the earth in my hands.” Not only is Taurus an Earth sign, they love to grow things and make marvelous gardeners. Growing up in England, I come from a family with a long line of gardening enthusiasts, especially on my mother’s side. And so, I invited my sister, who has certainly inherited this gardening ability, to write the tips for us! So hot off the presses here we have some gardening tips all the way from the UK for you, and the photo is one that I took of her garden a couple of summers ago.

Tips for Healthy Hair

So this month, I thought we’d feature some “healthy hair remedies” because Aries, after all, rules the head. And another reason is that I get to show you one of my favorite new images from New York photographer Melissa Lynn. I absolutely love this image she showed me recently at the ASMP Fine Art Portfolio reviews, and was determined to use it in this month’s bulletin, especially as I also discovered that Melissa is an Aries – how perfect!

Tips for Healthy Blood & Good Circulation

High Blood Pressure or Hypertension

Blood pressure is the force with which the blood presses against the arterials walls as it circulates throughout the body. When a person has High Blood Pressure, the force is greater than normal causing the arterial walls to narrow, which puts extra strain on the heart. A person’s blood pressure can easily increase with physical exercise, fear or stress, but these elevations are usually transient.
